Grade 3 high alumina bricks are a kind of neutral refractory material, the main component of which is alumina (Al₂O₃), with a content of not less than 48%.
Made by using different grades of bauxite clinker and formula binder, after molding and calcination, they have high thermal stability and refractoriness, and are mainly used for open-hearth heat storage checker bricks, plugs for pouring systems, sprue stones, etc.
