High Aluminum Hanging Brick

‌Secondary high-alumina hanging brick‌ is a refractory material made of high-alumina bauxite as the main raw material, with the main component being alumina (Al₂O₃) with a content of not less than 65%.

It is made by using different grades of bauxite clinker and formula binder, and undergoing multi-level particle ratio high-pressure molding, drying and high-temperature firing. Secondary high-alumina hanging brick has good refractory performance and corrosion resistance, and is suitable for various high-temperature industrial furnaces and other environments.

What Types of High Aluminum Hanging Bricks Are There?

Highland Refractory classifies High Aluminum Hanging Bricks by alumina content, structural design, and application scenarios to meet diverse industrial needs:
  • By Alumina Content:
    • Standard High Aluminum Hanging Bricks (Al₂O₃ ≥ 65%): Offer balanced performance for medium-temperature furnace roofs (e.g., boiler suspended ceilings).
    • High-Alumina Hanging Bricks (Al₂O₃ ≥ 75%): Feature enhanced refractoriness and load-bearing capacity for ultra-high-temperature kilns (e.g., glass furnace crowns).
  • By Structural Design:
    • Precast Hanging Bricks: Factory-prefabricated for quick on-site assembly, ideal for large-scale furnace renovation projects.
    • Custom-Shaped Hanging Bricks: Tailored into L-shaped, arc-shaped, or other profiles to fit complex furnace roof geometries.

Advantages of High Aluminum Hanging Bricks

Highland’s High Aluminum Hanging Bricks excel in suspended ceiling applications:
  • Superb Load-Bearing Capacity: With cold pressing strength ≥ 49MPa, they safely support multi-layer brick structures in furnace roofs.
  • Ultra-High Temperature Resistance: Boasting refractoriness ≥ 1790℃, they maintain stability in long-term 1500℃+ environments (e.g., steel mill reheating furnaces).
  • Low Porosity & Insulation: With apparent porosity ≤ 23%, they reduce heat loss by 25% and improve energy efficiency.
  • Easy Installation & Longevity: Engineered for hassle-free hanging systems, their service life is extended by 30% compared to conventional hanging solutions.

Applications of High Aluminum Hanging Bricks in Different Industries

These bricks are critical for suspended furnace/kiln structures across sectors:
  • Steel Industry: Roofs of reheating furnaces, soaking pits (withstand thermal cycling and heavy loads).
  • Glass Industry: Crowns of glass melting furnaces, regenerator roofs (ensure uniform temperature for consistent glass quality).
  • Cement Industry: Preheater towers, rotary kiln hoods (resist alkaline cement clinker erosion).
  • Petrochemical Industry: Furnace roofs in catalytic cracking units (resist high-temperature hydrocarbon corrosion).

1. How is the production process of High Aluminum Hanging Bricks controlled for quality?

Answer: Highland Refractory strictly controls every production stage: Raw materials undergo spectral analysis to ensure Al₂O₃ ≥65% and Fe₂O₃ ≤2%; Sintering uses computer-controlled kilns to maintain precise temperatures (ensuring refractoriness ≥1790℃); Final inspection includes load-bearing tests (≥49MPa) and dimensional checks (tolerance ±1mm). We also offer real-time production video monitoring for custom orders.

2. Can I request free samples of High Aluminum Hanging Bricks for testing?

Answer: Yes, we provide 2–3 free standard samples. For custom-shaped hanging bricks, a small mold fee is charged (refundable with bulk orders). Samples are shipped within 2 business days via DHL/FedEx for fast delivery.

3. What packaging methods are used for High Aluminum Hanging Bricks during shipping?

Answer: We use export-grade wooden crates with shock-absorbent foam between each brick to prevent collision. For long-distance transport, crates are reinforced with steel straps, and each package is labeled with “Fragile” and “Handle with Care” to ensure safe delivery (transport damage rate <0.5%).

4. What certifications guarantee the quality of High Aluminum Hanging Bricks?

Answer: Our bricks are certified by ISO 9001:2015, CE, TUV, and SGS. These certifications validate consistent quality in raw material selection, production processes, and final product performance (e.g., refractoriness, compressive strength). We provide a detailed test report with every order.

5. What after-sales services are available for High Aluminum Hanging Bricks?

Answer: Beyond product delivery, we offer: On-site installation training (for large projects); 5-year warranty against structural defects; Lifetime technical support for furnace maintenance and brick replacement advice. Our global service team responds to inquiries within 24 hours.
