Silicon carbide is the key component of silicon carbide castables, and its content is usually between 30% and 90%. Silicon carbide has high hardness, high melting point (about 2700℃), good thermal conductivity and chemical stability.
Its high hardness makes the castable have excellent wear resistance and can resist the erosion and friction of solid particles. The high thermal conductivity of silicon carbide helps the rapid transfer of heat, and it has obvious advantages in some thermal equipment that requires rapid heat dissipation.
(1) High wear resistance
(2) Good thermal conductivity
(3) High temperature resistance
(4) Strong corrosion resistance
(5) Good oxidation resistance
Metallurgical industry, petrochemical industry, building materials industry, power industry.
