Applicable to gray cast iron, ductile cast iron, and malleable cast iron, appearing as gray-brown granular particles, non-toxic and odorless, without harmful components.
1. Use on granulating agent: After placing the granulating agent, silicon iron, etc. into the bag and leveling it, evenly cover the surface with this product, then pour the molten iron for granulation. The specific usage can be adjusted according to the amount of granulating agent and the size of the bag opening area, generally, the reference ratio is about 1:0.07-0.15 for the granulating agent to this product.
2. Use on the molten iron liquid surface: After filling the molten iron, first remove the floating slag, then evenly cover the molten iron surface with this product for casting. The usage amount is between 0.1%-0.3% of the weight of the molten iron.
1. Good insulation performance, strong slag accumulation, non-stick to the bag wall, and high melting point.
2. Can be directly applied over the granulating agent. Its excellent insulation covering effect makes the granulation process smoother, delays the explosion time (8-15 seconds), effectively improves the granulation agent utilization rate, and reduces costs.
3. After removing the slag at the end of granulation, covering the molten iron surface with this product provides excellent insulation and radiation resistance, effectively slows down granulation decay, improves molten iron utilization rate, absorbs residual slag in the molten iron, reduces molten iron slag content, and improves process yield.
Widely used for insulation layers of various front ladles, transfer ladles, and casting ladles, non-working lining insulation layers of various hot working furnaces, particularly suitable for complex shapes, limited positions, and overall, airtight, high-strength furnace linings and local sections.
